ViaSat Reports Anik F2 Outage Causing Loss of Service for WildBlue Customers

CARLSBAD, Calif., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ViaSat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT) is reporting that WildBlue service from the Telesat Anik F2 satellite is experiencing an outage due to a technical anomaly, as reported by Telesat earlier today. Based on estimates provided by Telesat, ViaSat projects that WildBlue customers receiving service through Anik F2 will be restored by tomorrow morning.
