(NASDAQ: VSAT), a global broadband services and technology company, is inviting early stage cybersecurity companies focused on both commercial and government markets to present their innovative technologies and concepts to ViaSat's cybersecurity executives for potential partnership.

Local and non-local emerging cybersecurity companies are requested to submit an online application by March 7, 2017, for the opportunity to engage with the ViaSat team. Following the application approval process, ViaSat plans to host the selected companies on April 4-6, 2017 at its headquarters in Carlsbad, Calif., for a private networking reception and hour-long one-on-one meetings. Hart; Kristi Jaska, vice president of Engineering; Jerry Goodwin, chief operating officer of the Company's Government Systems Division.
Now in its 12th year, the EvoNexus MarketLink program connects tech industry leaders with emerging technology companies. The program has brought dozens of tech industry giants to San Diego, such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Huawei, and many more. Emerging companies from the region and from afar have gained the opportunity to meet privately with decision-makers within these large corporations. Sixty percent of meetings have resulted in follow-up meetings.
